ABOUT PAW 20th
Padjadjaran Accounting Week (PAW) is a project initiated by accounting students of Universitas Padjadjaran. Since its inception in 2005, it has been a place for raising awareness about pivotal and up-to-date topics within the scope of the global economy.
This year, The 20th PAW will have three main branches: the International Seminar, the National Competition, and the International Essay Competition. All aim to bring the grand theme to the surface and to serve as a means for worldwide participants to channel their interests and capabilities in accounting.
gRAND THEME
The audit profession faces a growing talent and trust crisis, driven by a lack of purpose for young professionals and public skepticism. New regulations demand deeper, risk-based thinking, highlighting the need to evolve from mere compliance to delivering strategic value.
To stay relevant, auditing must offer a clearer purpose, with auditors acting as credible partners who use strong technical foundations and professional judgment to uphold transparency and rebuild trust. This transformation requires emerging auditors to take ownership and lead the change. In a changing world, how can audit evolve to remain relevant and rebuild trust?
