What is

Padjadjaran Accounting Week (PAW) is a project initiated by accounting students of Universitas Padjadjaran. Since its inception in 2005, it has been a place for raising awareness about pivotal and up-to-date topics within the scope of the global economy.

This year, The 20th PAW will have three main branches: the International Seminar, the National Competition, and the International Essay Competition. All aim to bring the grand theme to the surface and to serve as a means for worldwide participants to channel their interests and capabilities in accounting.

Main Events

International Seminar

The International Seminar is one of the flagship events of The 20th Padjadjaran Accounting Week, organized annually by Hima Akuntansi, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Padjadjaran. This seminar serves as a platform for in-depth exploration of a specific topic, featuring insights and problem-solving approaches from experienced speakers in the field.

National Competition

A nationally standardized quiz-style competition designed to assess participants' understanding of accounting and its real-world application. In line with this year’s theme, the competition challenges students from both accounting and non-accounting backgrounds to critically engage with current issues facing the audit profession. Through a series of rigorous and dynamic questions, it aims to evaluate how well participants comprehend the shifting landscape of audit and whether they are prepared to navigate its evolving challenges.

International Essay Competition

A dynamic platform designed to challenge participants’ critical thinking and innovative perspectives on the evolving audit profession. Open to global participants, this competition evaluates your ability to reimagine audit career paths, enhance competitiveness in ASEAN, strengthen accounting integrity, or reposition auditors as catalysts for strategic insight and public trust.
